wildlife and landscape painting

This is so tpical of places I've been in the Western States. Standing still while painting, mule deer and especially the little fawns are enclined by curiosity to approach me. I remember a couple of fawns that had come within a couple of feet and how they stumbled all over each other to retreat when I moved. Hunters seldom have that kind experience.
